Now Accepting Reservations.
Sometimes bigger is just better, and at the recently renovated Planters Inn, the new St. Philip Suite reigns supreme.
Designed to feel like a private pied-a-terre in the heart of Charleston, this suite dazzles with approximately 1,460 square feet encompassing a sprawling living room, a full kitchen, a plush dining room, a spacious bedroom, a designer bathroom, as well as a reading & television room.
The St. Philip Suite is poised to become of one city’s best-kept secrets and is available to guests starting May 1, 2017.
Situated on the top floor of the hotel, with views of the historic St. Philip’s Church steeple and the Charleston skyline, this grand apartment boasts elegant yet comfortable details of a private Historic Charleston residence.
Soaring ceilings, hardwood floors, exposed hand-pointed brick, Baker Historic Charleston Collection furnishings, Jonathan Green artwork, arched doorways, and custom lighting greets guests in refined southern style.
Upon entering the suite, a fantastic reading room furnished with comfortable chairs, a flat screen television–the first of three found in the suite, and a bar complete with mini refrigerator beckons relaxation.
The perfect night of sleep is only a push of the button away thanks to this suite’s remote controlled retractable curtains that, when closed, block daylight from the bedroom.
A beautiful Baker Historic Charleston Collection four-poster king bed, Italian linens, and soothing, neutral tones create a sanctuary of calm in the bedroom. Two oversized closets offer ample size to store purchases acquired during a day spent perusing the boutiques of Historic Charleston.
The St. Philip Suite comes equipped with a kitchen that includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave as well as a custom-made table with seating for ten people.
South-facing windows bathe the expansive living area in ample sunlight and highlight a custom mural by noted artist David Boatwright. A plush sofa and the suite’s third flat screen television make the living area a comfortable place to unwind at day’s end.
As is the spacious bathroom with its double vanities with quartz countertops, illuminated mirrors, and walk-in shower.
